To all members:
Please see below message regarding a new planning program at Seneca College. In addition, the College has started the accreditation process with the CACPT and we are extremely excited to be working with them.
Seneca College has launched its brand new Sustainable Planning and Development program. The program, available through Seneca’s Faculty of Continuing Education and Training, serves to bridge the gap between theoretical and practical learning applications, and offers students the best in flexibility as all classes are scheduled on evenings and/or weekends. Courses in project management, public consultation, and urban design, among others, will be featured. As courses vary in level of difficulty – from beginner to advanced – individuals with a limited knowledge of Planning are encouraged to apply, as are graduates of recognized Planning programs hoping to upgrade their skills, and practicing Planning professionals seeking professional development opportunities. The program is affiliated with the Canadian Institute of Planners, the Ontario Professional Planners Institute, and will also be accredited by the Economic Developers Council of Ontario and the Canadian Association of Certified Planning Technicians.
